The High Cost of Settling

Using the parable of the Prodigal Son, we examine how both the younger and older sons illustrate different ways people miss the fullness of what God offers. The younger son settled for instant gratification, while the older son settled into religious duty without joy or intimacy. In both cases, settling led to loss relationally, spiritually, and even financially.
We also explore the grace of the Father, who restores relationship but doesn’t erase the consequences of squandered opportunity.
